MASTER CLASSES
Black Grace offers a variety of Master Classes and Workshops that can be tailored to meet different levels of experience and age from pre-professionals to seniors with no-experience. Company members will lead and assist participants through appropriate warm-up exercises, rhythmic exercises and dance phrases.
LECTURE-DEMONSTRATIONS
Led by the Artistic Director or a senior company member, the audience will have the opportunity to watch the Company in a ‘rehearsal’ environment. Choreographic tools and techniques will be pointed out, as well as meanings of some movement motifs and themes behind a selection of repertoire. The audience will be given the opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.
PANEL DISCUSSIONS
Panel discussions are generally with the Artistic Director and centered around a topical theme within the current repertoire.
PRE/POST-SHOW DISCUSSIONS
Generally held in an interview format with Artistic Director and a moderator, these activities can be held on-stage in front of the curtain, or preferably in a separate area within the performance venue if prior to the performance.

POST-SHOW Q&A'S
Post-Show Q&A’s are usually held on stage. A moderator is required and will be joined by either the Artistic Director and/or members of the Company.
